What happened

On the night of September 7, Hurricane Lowell passed just west of Kauaʻi. By morning, homes on the south and west shores had been pulled from their foundations, the Port Allen piers were gone, the roads to the North Shore and Westside were buried under sand and boulders, and 33,000 of the island's 36,000 households were dark. Nearly 16 inches of rain fell above Hāʻena.

Most of us can't get to Kauaʻi. This is the next best thing. $15 from every shirt goes to the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation's Stronger Hawaiʻi Fund, which sends money straight to the Kauaʻi groups handing out food and supplies and helping farmers and families who lost their homes. Your shirt ships in 3–5 business days.

When the campaign closes we publish the receipt: how many shirts sold, how much was sent, and when.

Hawaiʻi Community Foundation · Stronger Hawaiʻi Fund: The Hawaiʻi Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3). Its Stronger Hawaiʻi Fund makes rapid grants to nonprofits on the ground; by September 11 it had awarded 16 Hurricane Lowell grants to Kauaʻi organizations, including the Kauaʻi Independent Food Bank and Mālama Kauaʻi.
